How to unlock thar South Vern? ›

Tanay Rapport

To unlock Tanay as an NPC that you can do rapport with, you must fulfill a quest condition and a virtue condition. The quest you must complete is called Do you want to see hat magic?. You receive this quest as part of a quest chain on Peyto.

Rapport gifts are most reliably bought (and grindable) through providence stones. Typically, if you go to the exchange rapport vendors in any city, they'll give you a chest that contains three random gifts (with a chance at a legendary one, though the baseline is three epics) for 2,500 stones.

Bellion Defense

Pass through the northwest gate to find the first crystal outside of Albaleo's Castle, and the second can be found on the eastern half of the southern ruins. There are enemies guarding this crystal, so you may need to deal with them before you pick it up.

Vimana Agama unlocks after you complete Woodland Encounter and World of Aranara. It's part of the much bigger Aranyaka quest that includes Varuna Gatha, and you need to finish it to bring Rana's saga to a close. Once you obtain the Utsava Festival notebook, open it and browse the tabs in the first category.

Rapport Gifts can be obtained through various ingame means and provide an extra boost in points towards your favorite NPCs when gifted to them. Maximum 30 of the same gift can be given to an NPC in a single day. Sources for rapport gifts are: Providence Stones traded with Exchange Rapport NPCs in all major cities.

To fix that, you MUST set your rapport to the next 0-499 range possible. In this case it would be from 2000-2499. Once you hit that range, you would be able to gift 9 2k rapport gifts and max the NPC, skipping any quests/stat requirement and getting the rapport rewards.
