Kerala Banana Halwa
This is one dish which i came up with when i saw a ripe banana lying in my fruit bowl. Normally i would use them in some baking recipes. But this time i thought of making a quick easy halwa using it.

Ingredients for Kerala Banana Halwa
- Ripe Nendran Banana / Ethan Pazham - 1 large (around 1 cup mashed)
- Sugar - ¼ cup or to taste
- Ghee - 2 tbsp
- Almonds / Badam - 3 tbsp chopped ( use any nuts)
- Cardamom powder / Yelakai Podi - ¼ tsp
This halwa is made simply with mashed banana, sugar and few spices and ofcourse ghee. I used nendran pazham / ethan pazham for this recipe, i found that it taste best, but you could try with any banana.
