Gujarat Lok Sabha Election Result 2024 Highlights: BJP dominates on Modi home turf (2024)

Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party led his troops to victory on his home turf in Gujarat with the BJP winning 25 of 26 seats while the INC could only win one seat.

Dr Hemang Joshi, the BJP‘s candidate in Vadodara, leads with 8,65,825 EVM votes and 7,364 postal votes totaling to 8,73,189 votes at 72.04% followed by the INC’s Padhiyar Jashpalsinh Mahendrasinh with 2,87,570 EVM votes and 3,493 postal votes to 2,91,063 votes at 24.01%. NOTA, interestingly, garnered 1.52% votes.

Mansukh Mandaviya, the BJP‘s candidate in Porbandar, leads with 6,25,962 votes at 68.29% followed by the INC’s Lalit Vasoya with 2,45,677 votes at 26.8%. NOTA, interestingly, garnered 1.42% votes.

Rajpalsinh Mahendrasinh Jadav, the BJP‘s candidate of Panchmahal, leads with 7,85,342 votes at 70.4%. Gulabsingh Somsinh Chauhan, the INC’s candidate of Panchmahal, leads with 2,79,299 votes at 25.04%, as per data sourced from the ECI.

The BJP‘s candidate of Navsari, C R Patil, leads with a total of 10,21,890 votes at 77.16%. Behind him is the INC’s candidate, Naishadbhai Bhupatbhai Desai, with a total of 2,53,921 votes at 19.17%, as per data sourced from the ECI.

Devusinh Chauhan of the BJP leads Kheda with 7,38,609 EVM votes and 5,826 postal votes totaling to 7,44,435 votes at 63.31%. Kalusinh Dabhi of the INC with 3,81,656 EVM votes and 5,021 votes totaling to 3,86,677 at 32.88%, as per data sourced from the ECI.

Chavda Vinod Lakhamshi of the BJP leads in Kachchh with 6.56,979 votes at 60.22%, followed by Nitesh Parbatbhai Lalan of the INC with 3,89,384 votes at 35.69%, as per data sourced from the ECI.

Chudasama Rajeshbhai Naranbhai of the Bharatiya Janata Party wins in Junagadh with 5,78,516 EVM votes and 5,533 postal votes totaling to 5,84,049 votes at 54.67%. Jotva Hirabhai Arjanbhai of the Indian National Congress followed a distant second with 4,44,156 EVM votes and 4,399 postal votes totaling to 4,48,555 votes at 41.99%, as per data sourced from the ECI. Additionally, the victory margin was 1,35,494 votes.

Poonamben Hematbhai Maadam of the BJP leads in Jamnagar with 6,17,844 votes at 58.98%. Advocate J. P. Maraviya of the INC trails Poonamben with 3,80,854 votes at 36.35%.

Jaswantsinh Sumanbhai Bhabhor of the Bharatiya Janata Party leads in Dahod with 6,67,550 votes at 61.51%. The Indian National Congress is trailing yet again with Dr. Prabhaben Kishorsinh Taviyad is trailing Jaswantsinh with 3,45,731 at 31.86%, as per data sourced from ECI. NOTA featured at number three with 33,659 votes at 3.1%.

Jashubhai Bhilubhai Rathva of the BJP leads with 7,91,727 votes at 62.89% in Chhota Udaipur. Sukhrambhai Hariyabhai Rathwa of the INC trails him with 3,84,433 votes at 31.33%, as per data sourced from ECI.

The BJP leads Bharuch with Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya leading the race with 5,86,126 votes at 69.12%. She is followed by the AAP’s Umeshbhai Naranbhai Makwana with 2,12,500 at 24.35%, as per data sourced from ECI. NOTA, interestingly, is in third place with 15,227 votes at 1.72%

The BJP continues to lead Bharuch. Mansukhbhai Dhanjibhai Vasava is leading with 5,95,728 votes at 51.23%. Trailing behind is Chaotarbhai Damjibhai Vasava from Aam Aadami Party with 5,01,807 votes at 43.15%. The number of NOTA (none-of-the-above) votes stood at 2,2354 at 1.92%, as per data sourced from the ECI.

Parbhubhai Nagarbhai Vasava of the BJP is leading in Bardoli with 6,43,105 votes at 58.11%. Trailing Vasava is Chaudhary Siddharth Amarsinh of the INC with 4,29,765 at 38.3%, as per data sourced from the ECI. NOTA, in Bardoli, has garnered 1.85% votes.

Dr. Rekhaben Hiteshbhai Chaudhari of the BJP is leading the race in Banaskantha with 3,67,391 votes via EVM at 47.83%. Geniben Nagaji Thakor of the INC is hot on her heels with 3,65,633 votes with 47.4%, as per data sourced from the ECI. NOTA, interestingly, took the third spot with12,405 votes at 1.6%

Amit Shah of the BJP is leading in Gandhinagar with a huge margin on the back of 5,71,985 votes at 79.25%. Sonal Ramanbhai Patel of the INC is trailing behind with 1,26,236 at 17.49%. Amit Shah is leading by 4,45,749 votes, as per data sourced from the ECI. The total number of NOTA votes stood at 1,24,04 votes at 1.72%.

Mitesh Patel (Bakabhai) of the BJP is leading in Anand with 3,16342 votes at 53.43% casted via EVM. Amit Chavda of the INC is trailing behind with 2,60,226 votes at 43.95% as per data sourced from the ECI. Interestingly, NOTA vote count stood at 1.31% that is 7,866 votes.

Bharatbhai Manubhai Sutariya of the BJP is leading in Amreli with 3,99,652 votes at 65.68% casted via EVM. Behind him is Jenny Thummar of the Indian National Congress with 1,84,973 votes at 30.4%, as per data sourced from the ECI.

Dineshbhai Makwana of the BJP leads with 65.01% of votes with 5,40,396 total votes. Bharat Yogendra Makwana of the INC is second with 2,65,375 votes with 31.92%. Dineshbhai leads with a healthy margin of 2,75,021 votes, as per data sourced from the ECI.

The BJP‘s Hasmukhbhai Patel is leading in Ahmedabad East with total votes of 2,67,678. The EVM votes are also same at 2,676,78 at 70.57%. NOTA in total got 3,328 votes via EVM, as per from data sourced from the ECI.

The BJP‘s Rekhaben Hiteshbhai Chaudhari has overtaken the INC’s Geniben Nagaji Thakor with 87,378 votes at 47.5% while the latter stands at 86,919 votes at 47.2%, as per poll trends by the ECI

Mitesh Rameshbhai Patel of the BJP leads Anand constituency with 91,843 votes with 50.6% followed closely by the INC’s Amit Chavda with 84,831 votes at 46.8%, as per polling trends by the ECI.

BJP‘s Bharatbhai Manubhai Sutariya leads in Amreli constituency with 1,37,108 votes at 63.6%. He is followed by INC’s Jenny Thummar with 69,695 votes with 32.3%, according to ECI’s polling trends.
